PET POLICY
We Love Animals and Prioritize Tenant Safety
At Tinali Property Management, we have a deep appreciation for animals and recognize the joy and companionship they bring to our lives. We also understand the importance of ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for all our tenants. To strike a balance between these priorities, we have established the following pet policy:
Small Pet Restriction
Only small pets, defined as those weighing 20 pounds (9.07 kilograms) or less at full maturity, are permitted on the premises.
Small pets are limited to domesticated cats and dogs. Other small pets, such as rabbits, birds, or rodents, are allowed with prior written approval from the landlord.
Dangerous Dog Breeds Restriction
The following dog breeds, or any mix thereof, are strictly prohibited on the premises due to safety concerns and insurance restrictions:
-
American Pit Bull Terrier
-
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
-
Rottweiler
-
Doberman Pinscher
-
Chow Chow
-
Wolf Hybrids
Pet Registration
Tenants must register their small pets with the landlord before bringing them onto the premises.
A one-time, non-refundable pet fee per pet is required to cover any potential damages or additional cleaning expenses.
Proof of current vaccinations and a recent veterinary examination report are to be provided upon request.
Pet Behavior and Responsibility
Tenants are responsible for ensuring that their pets do not disturb neighbors or create a nuisance. Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or any other disruptive conduct is not permitted.
Pets must be leashed and under control while in common areas and when outside the apartment.
Pet waste must be promptly cleaned up and disposed of properly.
Liability and Insurance
Tenants with small pets are required to obtain and maintain liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000 per pet, listing the landlord as an additional insured party.
The landlord shall not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused by tenants' pets.
Violation and Remedies
Violation of this pet policy may result in eviction proceedings and/or fines.
The landlord reserves the right to request the removal of a pet if it poses a threat to the safety or well-being of other tenants or the property.
Disclaimer Regarding Local Laws
This pet policy is subject to change based on local laws and regulations. In case of any conflict between this policy and applicable local laws, the local laws shall always take precedence and govern.
